I'm Vic Wilkin / riiverkit online!!!
I'm a multimedia artist and animator, and I recently graduated from the Columbus College of Art & Design with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Animation, with a strong focus on 2D animation, but some experience in experimental, motion graphics, and 3D animation.
MY JOURNEY
From a young age I had a strong interest in art, which was boosted in my early teens by various animated media, video games, and online art communities, which have become a huge part of my life. As I grew up, I took as many 2D animation classes as I could and almost every type of art class my high school had to offer, along with consuming many online tutorials and tips. Since coming to CCAD, I have been able to continue sharpening my skills in art and animation and focus full-time on creating.
My favorite things to feature in my work are cats or creatures, saturated colors, expressive characters, and dramatic stories. I strive to make art that I enjoy both the process of and the final look of, along with constantly improving my methods. My goal is to continue learning, sharpening my skills, exploring mediums as much as possible, and to be the artist that younger me aspired to be :3
